For riders who do most of their riding alone
The coaching, education and support every rider deserves.
One thing to work on every week. Fifty-two weeks a year, including the weeks you cannot ride.
- One challenge a week, chosen for you. Not a library to browse. One thing to go and do, and everybody is doing it with you.
- A riding version and a non-riding version of every challenge, so a lame horse, an injury or a filthy week does not stop your progress.
- A live coaching call with Grand Prix rider Natasha Althoff every month, plus Ask Tash AI at any hour in between.
- 200+ training videos and a private global community riding the same challenge as you.
$0 for 14 days. Then $29 USD a month, normally $49. Card activates the trial, cancel anytime.

You know this bit
A year of riding can go by without one thing actually changing.
You get on with no plan.
You could work on your position, or his straightness, or transitions, or your hands, or your nerves. So you do a bit of everything, which is another way of saying nothing. You have had that ride a hundred times.
The question arrives at 7pm.
Not in a lesson. In the paddock, on a Tuesday, when something feels wrong and there is nobody to ask. So you guess, and you ride on the guess for a fortnight.
Then six weeks vanish.
He was lame. Or you were. Or it rained for a month. And when you finally get back on, you are not where you left off, you are behind it.
None of that is a talent problem. It is a focus problem, and nobody ever handed you the thing that fixes it: one clear job for the week.
The maths nobody does
Run the numbers on your own year.
Say you ride five days a week, and you are one of the lucky ones who gets a lesson every fortnight.
260rides in a year
26of them with a coach watching
234rides where it is just you deciding what to do
Every rider you know is trying to improve by buying more of the 26. Almost nobody does anything about the 234. Not because they are lazy, but because standing at the mounting block with a thousand options and no plan is not a problem another lesson can solve.
The Riders Lounge does something different with that number. It does not sell you more lessons. It gives you one clear job a week, fifty-two times a year, and a room full of riders doing the same one.
Here is the part nobody tells you
The industry sells you hours, and it sells you videos. Nobody ever sold you a week.
And that is not your coach being difficult. It is simply how it is all built. A coach can only sell the hours they can physically stand in an arena. A video library can only sell you more to choose from. Neither one tells you what to do on Tuesday.
- So when you plateau, you assume you need a better coach.
- When your confidence goes, you assume you need a quieter horse.
- When nothing much improves, you assume you need more talent than you have.
You almost never assume the real thing, which is that more choice was never going to help. Another hundred videos is another hundred decisions, and you were already drowning in decisions at the gate.
The Riders Lounge takes the decision off you. One challenge, every week. You turn up and do that one thing, and so does everybody else.
And it runs on three clocks, so the whole week is covered. A challenge and something new from Tash every week. A live coaching call with her every month. The community and Ask Tash AI every hour of every day, for the questions that will not wait.
No charge for 14 days. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
The whole idea, in three words
Never ride alone.
Not that somebody is standing in your arena. That when you get off, or get stuck, or get it right for the first time in months, there is somewhere to take it and someone who understands what it meant.
Who is in here
Riders join for four different reasons.
You will probably recognise yourself in one of these. Plenty of members recognise themselves in two.
01
You have been riding the same for two years.
Dressage, jumping, eventing, endurance or just out hacking, it makes no odds. You are putting in the hours and nothing much is moving. You want someone to tell you what to work on first, in an order that builds, instead of another tip that contradicts the last one.
02
Something happened, and you have not been the same since.
A fall, a bolt, a bad day that stuck. Or competition nerves that arrive the night before and stay. You are not looking for a pep talk. You want to know what to do with your body and your head when the feeling comes.
03
You are early on, and there is no map.
New to horses, or back after a long time away. Everyone gives you advice and none of it agrees. You want one trustworthy voice and an order to do things in.
04
You are the only horse person in your life.
You love this and nobody around you gets it. You want people who understand why you drove three hours for a 4 minute test, and who will be genuinely pleased when it goes well.
The bit that does the work
Every week should make you a better rider. Even the weeks you cannot ride.
52improvements a year, one week at a time
Every Monday you get one challenge. Not a menu, not a playlist. One thing to go and work on, with a short audio or video from Tash explaining exactly how.
One of this year’s weekly challenges, posted in the members group.
Option one
The riding challenge
Something to take into the arena or out on the trail this week. It scales to you, so a beginner and a Grand Prix rider can both do the same challenge and both get something out of it.
Option two
The non-riding challenge
For the weeks you cannot ride. He is lame, you are injured, he is away, or it has rained for a fortnight. You still move forward, because the work that week is groundwork, or your body, or your head.
This is the part most memberships get wrong. They give you more to choose from and call it value. A thousand videos is a thousand decisions, and the week you cannot ride is a week you fall behind. Here, there is one job, there is always a version of it you can do, and by December you are fifty-two improvements further on rather than wondering where the year went.
Your first challenge lands the Monday after you join.
What is inside
Six things, and they all do the same job.
They all do the same thing: make sure that by Sunday, something is better than it was on Monday.

One · every week
Your weekly challenge, plus the audio that teaches it
One job for the week, with a short audio or video from Tash showing you exactly how to do it. Riding and non-riding versions, every week.
- Short enough to use. Listen on the drive out, then ride it while it is still in your head.
- It scales to your level, so a beginner and an advanced rider get something out of the same challenge.
- It follows the month’s focus, so the weeks build instead of being random tips.

Two · every month
A live coaching call with Tash
Once a month you get her live. You turn up, you ask, she coaches. This is what makes it a membership rather than a video library.
- Bring your actual problem, the one that has been bothering you for weeks.
- Listen to everyone else’s questions too. Someone always asks the thing you did not know to ask.
- Recorded, so a bad time zone or a busy month does not cost you it.
He keeps falling in on the left rein. What do I do?
Tash AI is answering
I have my first test in 3 weeks and I am already dreading it.
Three · 24/7
Ask Tash AI
Grand Prix riding knowledge and NLP-trained mindset coaching at your fingertips, at any hour, included in your membership.
- For the 7pm on a Tuesday questions, the ones that used to get answered by a guess.
- Answers in Tash’s method, so it does not contradict what you learned on the call.

Four · any time
The Video Vault
Over 200 training videos across twelve categories, on your phone, in the feed room, at 6am.
- Search it like a question. Contact, straightness, the canter aid, nerves at the marshalling area.
- Taught by one person, so the advice does not contradict itself the way free advice online does.

Five · all day, every day
The private community
A private group of riders doing it alongside you and sharing how it is actually going. Post at midnight and somebody is awake.
- Somewhere to put the wins. The first clean transition, the first rug, the first time you got on without your stomach turning over.
- No judgment. This is the part members are most surprised by.

Six · every month
Prizes, awards and in-house competitions
Something to aim at that is not a real competition entry fee, and something to win at the end of it.
- Prizes and awards every month, plus giveaways through the year including horse holidays, boots, helmets and gear.
- In-house competitions and celebrations, so the wins get marked by people who know what they cost.
The Video Vault
Over 200 lessons, sorted by what you are stuck on.
Twelve categories, from contact and straightness through to competition nerves, young horses and horse care. It keeps growing, and every coaching call gets added to it.

- Riding Fear Help
- Rider Mindset Help

The year is already planned
Every month has a focus. Every week has a challenge.
This is the part that stops it being a video dump. You are not browsing, you are working through something, and so is everybody else that month.
A few of the months Tash has mapped out:
What it actually looks like
One ordinary week as a member.
Monday
The week’s challenge drops, with a new audio from Tash. It is March, so it is contact. You listen on the drive out and you know exactly what you are riding today.
Tuesday
Something is not working. Instead of guessing and riding on the guess for a fortnight, you ask Tash AI at 7pm from the kitchen and get an answer before you go out again.
Wednesday
You post how the challenge went in the group. Two replies before you have untacked, one of them from a rider three years ahead of you who had the same problem.
Friday
Celebration day in the group. You put up the thing you would never say out loud at work, and people are properly pleased about it.
And once this month
The live call. You bring the question that the challenge threw up, Tash works it through, and you go into next month knowing what you are fixing.

Who is coaching you
Natasha Althoff
Tash was the first rider in Australasia to train a Friesian stallion to Grand Prix. Not on a made horse, and not with a budget. She did it by working out the order things go in, and then writing it down.
She also knows the other side of it. She was bucked off her stallion and broke a bone in her back, and had to rebuild her own riding confidence from nothing. That is why the mindset work in here is not an add on.
She started The Riders Lounge because the riders who needed her most were the ones who could least afford a weekly private lesson, and who were furthest from anyone good.
- Grand Prix dressage rider and coach. First in Australasia to take a Friesian stallion to Grand Prix.
- NLP Master Practitioner, ICC Performance Coach and trained hypnotherapist.
- 8,000 riders taught, in 180 countries, with 684 free lessons published and 22.9 million views.

What happens when the week has a point to it.
“I had a solid, supple, even connection at all three gaits.”
“I have been struggling with contact for over 10 years with my horse. I watched and read your teachings on connection and within 10 minutes, I had a solid supple and even connection at all three gaits. His throughness was incredible.”
Kristi Horbach

“I am riding my big girls again after so many years of being scared.”
“Honestly, this program has worked for me. I am riding my big girls again after so many years of being scared to ride. It is worth it and I will do it again if I ever have to. Thank you Tash for all your support.”
Sondra Sparapani

“I came home with the Weekend Dressage Jackpot and won our first rug.”
“I have taken on your advice and ignored all the negative people who told me not to go out and compete, and that I should not be doing it. On the ANZAC weekend, I went out and came home with the Weekend Dressage Jackpot for Level 5 and won our first rug.”
Rachel Nell

“What I learned from her is solely responsible for getting my joy of riding back.”
“Tash is so insightful, knowledgeable, and most of all, compassionate. She speaks from her own experience. She relates to you as a friend.”

Day 1
You are in
Your card activates the trial and is not charged. Full access straight away, the whole vault and Tash AI included. Introduce yourself, or quietly read for a fortnight.
Your first week
Ride the challenge
Monday’s audio and challenge land. Ride it, then post how it went. This is the fastest way to know whether the Lounge is going to work for you.
Your second week
Test it on the hard thing
Pick the thing that has bothered you for months. Search the vault, ask Tash AI at whatever hour suits, then take it out and ride it.
Day 14
Your call
Stay, and it is $29 a month. Or tell the team before day 14 and you are charged nothing. One email, no phone call, no reason required.
Honest bit
This is not right for everyone.
Start the trial if
- You do most of your riding with nobody watching.
- You ride any discipline. Dressage, eventing, jumping, western, trail, or just out for the pleasure of it.
- You want somewhere to take a question that comes up on a Tuesday, at the hour it comes up.
- You would get more done with one job for the week than with a library to browse.
- You cannot ride at the moment, through injury, a lame horse or the weather, and you do not want to lose the months.
- You have been at the same level long enough that you have stopped expecting it to change.
- You would like horsey friends who are genuinely pleased for you.
- You want the coaching without the price of a weekly private lesson.
Give it a miss if
- You want one to one coaching on your own horse. This is group coaching, and that is why it costs $29 rather than $600.
- You want somebody physically in your arena. Nothing online replaces that, and Tash would tell you the same.
- You are after a quick fix. The riders who get the most out of this are the ones who turn up over months.
- You already have excellent coaching several times a week and a yard full of people who get it. You are sorted.
Questions
Before you start.
Is the trial really free, and what happens on day 14?
How do I cancel?
Do I need my own horse?
I only ride dressage. Or I never ride dressage. Is this for me?
How often is the live coaching, and what if I am in the wrong time zone?
What is Ask Tash AI?
What if I cannot ride at the moment?
What are the monthly focus and weekly challenges?
I am nervous about being on camera or asking a silly question.
Where is the community held?
I have almost no time. Is $29 a month wasted on me?
Does this replace my coach?
Next week is coming either way.
It can be another week of a bit of everything. Or it can be the first of fifty-two where you know exactly what you are working on. And on the weeks you cannot ride at all, there is still a version you can do from the ground.
14 days free, then $29 USD a month, normally $49. Cancel anytime.
