You know this bit

None of this is a talent problem.

The lesson that evaporates.

With your coach standing there, it comes together. Then they drive off, and by Thursday you cannot remember whether it was the inside rein or the outside leg.

The rides nobody sees.

It will not come together and there is nobody to ask. You school the same thing five times and still cannot tell whether it was right. You get off not knowing if that was a good ride or a wasted one.

The sheet that says the same thing.

"Not through enough." "Behind the bit." "Contact needs to improve." You could write the comments yourself by now, and you still do not know what to do differently on Monday.

There is nothing wrong with you or your horse. You were handed three thousand tips, never one recipe, and nobody to ride it with.

The Riders Lounge+

Dressage Mastery shows you what to do. The Riders Lounge makes sure you keep doing it.

One tells you exactly what to do at every level. The other gives you a focus every week, answers when you are stuck, and people who notice when it works. Each one helps on its own. Together, they are what most riders have never had.

What it actually looks like

One ordinary week in the Riders Lounge+.

Nothing about your week changes, except that you know what you are doing, and somebody is with you while you do it.

M

Monday

The week’s challenge drops with a new audio from Tash. You open the module for your level and find the recipe that goes with it.

T

Tuesday

Lesson, if you have one. Same lesson, but now you know which piece your coach is fixing. No lesson this week? You have the recipe anyway.

W

Wednesday

Your horse leans. You know it is a connection problem, and you know the three steps. At 7pm you ask Tash AI the thing you are still not sure about.

S

Saturday

No energy for thinking. You plug in a training plan audio and let Tash talk you through the whole session.

S

Sunday

You post how the week went. Two replies before you have untacked, one from a rider a level ahead who had the same problem last year.

★

And once this month

The live Q&A. You bring the question the week threw up, Natasha works it through, and you go into next month knowing what you are fixing.

The private members community

This is not one of those groups you are scared to post in.

You do not need the perfect horse, the perfect position or a 70% test.

Post the video where it finally worked. Post the one where it absolutely did not. Ask the question you think everyone else already knows. Tell us you entered your first competition, or that you withdrew. Tell us your horse is lame and you are gutted.

There are riders in here who understand exactly why all of it matters.

Come inside the Riders Lounge

Say hello tonight, or quietly read for a while. Both are fine.

The part members love most

Every week should make you a better rider. Even the weeks you cannot ride.

52improvements a year, one week at a time

Every Monday the whole Lounge gets one focus for the week. Not a menu, not a playlist. One thing to go and work on, with a short audio or video from Tash explaining exactly how, and everybody in the Lounge working on the same thing at the same time.

A recent Riders Lounge weekly challenge

One of this year’s weekly challenges, posted in the members community.

Option one

The riding challenge

Something to take into the arena this week. It scales to you, so a rider at prelim and a rider at Grand Prix can do the same challenge and both get something out of it.

Option two

The non-riding challenge

For the weeks you cannot ride. Your horse is lame, you are injured, your horse is away, or it has rained for a fortnight. You still move forward, because the work that week is groundwork, your body or your head.

This is the bit members keep talking about. Having one thing to focus on changes the whole week. You are not standing at the mounting block deciding what to work on, because you already know. And because everyone is on the same challenge, the community fills up with riders trying it, posting how it went and cheering each other on. It is also why members actually use it, instead of paying for something they never open.

What is Dressage Mastery?

World-class dressage education, simplified.

Dressage Mastery is Natasha Althoff’s step-by-step recipe book for dressage: the exact sequence for every movement, from your very first test to Grand Prix.

If you are not progressing, or you do not understand what your coach is asking, that is not on you. It is the coach’s job to find a way of explaining it that works for you. So Natasha teaches it four ways, and you use whichever one makes it click.

Natasha Althoff

"Dressage Mastery has been $497. I'm tired of people's finances getting in the way of their education. So now it lives inside the Riders Lounge, for $29 a month."

Natasha Althoff

What is not in it, so you know exactly what you are getting. The personalised six-week plan and the video reviews, where Natasha watches you ride and writes your plan, need her time one rider at a time. Those stay in the premium program. Everything else that teaches you the recipes is in here.

The eight-piece Rider Intuition Wheel: thinking framework, the zone, lower body, upper body, straight and soft, connection, power and impulsion, collection

The Rider Intuition Wheel, taught in full inside the recipe book

Eight pieces, not three thousand

The whole of dressage, on one page.

Four things your horse is doing, four things you are doing. Natasha rides Grand Prix off this wheel and nothing else, because everything else is already a recipe.

3,000Pieces, face down
becomes
8Pieces, clearly labelled
  1. Is your horse straight and soft? Yes or no.
  2. Do you have connection? Yes or no.
  3. If yes and yes, add power.
  4. Did the power cost you the softness, straightness or connection? Go back and catch it.
  5. If not, take the energy up instead of forwards. That is collection.

Feel, react. That is a piaffe, and it is also a twenty-metre circle at prelim.

The recipe book

Eight modules. One for every level, from your first test to Grand Prix.

You do not wade through all of it. Start at the level you actually ride, and the next one is waiting when you are ready.

Module 1, Dressage FundamentalsModule 1

Dressage Fundamentals

The dressage scale, the art of the contact and essential groundwork. Where most "advanced" problems actually live.

Module 2, Training Level / PreliminaryModule 2

Training Level / Preliminary

Developing the forward, acceptance of the bit and smooth transitions.

Module 3, First Level / NoviceModule 3

First Level / Novice

More engagement, better balance, and riding the tests so the marks reflect the work.

Module 4, Second Level / ElementaryModule 4

Second Level / Elementary

Lateral work, refining the aids, and holding the connection when the questions get harder.

Module 5, Third Level / MediumModule 5

Third Level / Medium

Medium and collected paces, travers, renvers and half pass.

Module 6, Fourth Level / AdvancedModule 6

Fourth Level / Advanced

Real collection, the half halt, flying changes and counter canter that holds together.

Module 7, PSG & Inter IModule 7

PSG & Inter I

Pirouettes and tempi changes, including how Natasha counted hers when she could not feel them.

Module 8, Inter II & Grand PrixModule 8

Inter II & Grand Prix

Piaffe, passage, ones. Yes, it is in there. No, you do not have to look at it yet.

Why members stay

Dressage Mastery is the roadmap. The Lounge is the journey.

The recipe book might be why you join. These six things are why members stay, month after month.

One · every week

Your weekly challenge, plus the audio that teaches it

One job for the week, with a short audio or video from Tash showing you exactly how. Riding and non-riding versions, every week.

  • Short enough to use. Listen on the drive out, then ride it while it is still in your head.
  • It follows the month’s focus, so the weeks build instead of being random tips.

Two · every month

A live Q&A with Natasha

Once a month you get her live, inside the Lounge. Bring the question the recipes threw up, and she works it through.

  • Bring your actual problem, the one that has been bothering you for weeks.
  • Recorded, so a bad time zone or a busy month does not cost you it.

My horse keeps falling in on the left rein. Which recipe is that?

Tash AI is answering

I have my first test in 3 weeks and I am already dreading it.

Three · 24/7

Ask Tash AI

Grand Prix riding knowledge and NLP-trained mindset coaching at your fingertips, at any hour.

  • For the 7pm on a Tuesday questions, the ones that used to get answered by a guess.
  • Answers in Tash’s method, so it lines up with the recipes instead of contradicting them.

Four · any time

The Video Vault

Over 200 lessons across twelve categories, from contact and test prep to fear, fitness and young horses.

  • Search it like a question. Straightness, the canter aid, nerves at the marshalling area.
  • Every live Q&A gets added, so it keeps growing.

Five · all day, every day

The private community

Riders all over the world, doing it alongside you and sharing how it is actually going. Post at midnight and somebody is awake.

  • Somewhere to put the wins. The first clean change, the first ribbon, the first leg yield that actually went sideways.
  • No judgment. Nobody is ever made to feel small in here.

Six · every month

Prizes, awards and celebrations

Something to aim at that does not cost an entry fee, and something to win at the end of it.

  • Prizes and awards every month, plus giveaways through the year including horse holidays, boots, helmets and gear.
  • Celebrations in the community, so the wins get marked by people who know what they cost.

Who wrote the recipes

Natasha Althoff

I am probably a less talented rider than you are, and that is exactly what makes me a good coach. I could not feel the right diagonal. I could not get my horse on the bit. I watched my friends move up to the advanced group while I stayed behind, and I cried in my horse float more times than I will admit.

So I reverse-engineered every step, and I wrote it down. I cannot cook to save myself, but give me a recipe that tells me how to crack the egg and I will make you a perfectly good chocolate cake. Dressage turned out to be the same.

It took me twenty years and more money than I want to write down. You should not have to do any of that. That is the whole point of this.

  • Grand Prix dressage rider and coach. The first in Australasia to take a Friesian stallion to Grand Prix, on three rides a week.
  • A Friesian cross Thoroughbred to Inter II before that.
  • NLP Master Practitioner, which is why the mindset half of the wheel is not an add on.
  • 8,000+ riders taught since 2009, and 150,000+ YouTube subscribers.

What coaching costs

No surprises

What happens when you join.

Tonight

You are in

Your login lands in your inbox. Say hello in the community, or quietly read for a while, and open the module for the level you actually ride.

Monday

Your first challenge

The week’s challenge and audio land. Ride it alongside your module, then post how it went.

This month

The live Q&A

Bring the question your first few weeks threw up. Natasha works it through live, and it is recorded if you cannot be there.

Every month after

$29, same as today

Your price stays at $29 for as long as you are a member. If you ever want to leave, one email to the team and it is done.

Honest bit

This is not right for everyone.

Join if

  • You have been at the same level long enough that it has stopped feeling like a phase.
  • You want an actual recipe for what to do in the saddle, not more tips.
  • You do most of your riding with nobody watching.
  • You would love horsey friends who are genuinely pleased for you.
  • Life is busy, and you need something that fits around it rather than one more deadline.
  • You compete, or you never will. Both are completely fine.
  • You cannot ride at the moment and you do not want to lose the months.

Give it a miss if

  • You want Natasha to watch you ride and write your personal plan. That is the premium program, and it costs more because it takes her time.
  • You want somebody physically in your arena. Nothing online replaces that, and Tash would tell you the same.
  • You are after a magic pill. Natasha looked for years, and there is not one.
  • You would rather keep looking for the answer in a new horse, a new bit or a new coach.

Questions

Before you join.

What exactly is the Riders Lounge+?

It is the Riders Lounge, our private community of riders, with Natasha's Dressage Mastery recipe book inside it. The community, the weekly focus and challenge, the monthly live Q&A, Ask Tash AI, the Video Vault, prizes and awards, plus the eight level modules, Training in Real Time, the manuals, recipe books and troubleshooting guides, and 100+ training plan audios.

What is the community actually like?

Kind and encouraging. It is a private members community, separate from your personal social media, where riders post their rides, their videos, their wins and their bad days, and get encouragement back. Natasha is in there herself.

You never have to post. Plenty of members read quietly for a month before they say hello.

Wasn't Dressage Mastery $497?

Yes. Natasha decided she was tired of people's finances getting in the way of their education, so the recipe book now lives inside the Riders Lounge.

Two things that take her personal time are not part of the Riders Lounge+: the six-week plan she writes after watching you ride, and video reviews of your riding. The live coaching is a Q&A once a month, recorded for the vault. Everything else that teaches you the recipes is here.

Will the price go up?

Not for you. For as long as your membership continues, you pay $29 USD a month, whatever happens to our prices later. If you cancel and come back another time, the price on offer then applies.

Is there a free trial or a money-back guarantee?

No. We have kept this one simple. It is $29 a month, you can cancel anytime, and you only ever pay for the month you are in.

How do I cancel?

Email the team and they will take care of it. There is no phone call, no retention pitch and no reason required. We would far rather you left easily and came back in a season when it suits you than stayed because leaving was awkward.

Life is busy. Will I actually use it?

That is exactly what the weekly focus is for. You are not facing a library and deciding where to start. There is one thing this week, a short audio that teaches it, and a version you can do even if you cannot ride. Most riders spend twenty minutes or so with a module before they ride, then ride it.

And if a busy fortnight goes by and you do not open it, nothing is lost. It is there when the week calms down.

Which level do I start at? What if I am not sure?

Start at the module for the level you actually ride. All eight are open from day one, but you will not need them all at once, which is rather the point. If you are not sure, start with Fundamentals. That is where most "advanced" problems live anyway.

I do not compete. Is it still worth it?

Yes. A dressage test is just a way of finding out how responsive your horse is under a bit of pressure, and you can ride one at home with nobody watching. Plenty of members never enter a competition and get everything they came for.

How often is the live coaching, and what if I am in the wrong time zone?

The live Q&A with Natasha is once a month, inside the Lounge. In between there is a new challenge and audio every week, the whole recipe book, the community and Tash AI, so you are never waiting a month for help.

Every Q&A is recorded and added to the vault, and you can post your question ahead of time to have it answered even if you cannot be there.

What is Ask Tash AI?

It is included in your membership and it is there at any hour. You ask it a riding, training or mindset question and it answers in Tash's method, so it lines up with the recipes rather than contradicting them.

It does not replace the live Q&A, and it is not pretending to be Tash. It is for the questions that turn up at 7pm on a Tuesday, which used to get answered by a guess.

I do not only ride dressage. Is this for me?

Yes. Dressage is simply the systematic training of a riding horse, so the recipes make every other discipline easier. And the Lounge itself is for every rider, whether you jump, event, ride endurance or just love going out on the trail.

Do I need my own horse?

No. Plenty of members lease, share, ride at a school, or are between horses at the moment. The recipes, the vault and the community all work either way.

You do not have to choose between better riding and having people beside you.

You have not been failing. You have been cooking without a recipe, and doing it on your own. The next four years can be different, starting tonight, with a room full of riders who will be genuinely pleased when it works.
