How To Get The Correct Canter Lead From Sitting Trot - DMA TV EP31 - Your Riding Success

With Natasha back in the saddle, she is getting her strength back everyday. This weeks episode was answering a question from a Dressage Mastery Academy member, “how do I get the right canter lead from sitting trot?”

Firstly, what are the footfalls of the canter? How do you know if you are on the correct one? Looking down on the circle you should see your horses inside front leg reaching further forward than the outside front leg.

Natasha explains this and demonstrates how to do it, what to look for and what not to do!

We hope you enjoy this video and learn lots from this lesson.

Until next week, happy and safe riding 🙂
