How Do I Fix a Four Beat Canter? - DMA TV EP32 - Your Riding Success

It’s been 4 weeks since Natasha has had her baby… and she is improving every day with her riding 🙂

This weeks episode answers a question from a Dressage Mastery Academy member, “how do I fix a four beat canter?”

The canter is a 3 beat gait – and needs to have a emphasis on the 3 beats, and not 4 beats! Outside front and inside hind are together. A 4 beat canter looks like it is about to fall back to the trot at any time. So it’s all about getting your horse forward and use his hindlegs 🙂

Natasha explains this and demonstrates how to do it, what to look for and what not to do!

We hope you enjoy this video and learn lots from this lesson.

Until next week, happy and safe riding 🙂
