FIRST RIDE ON MY NEW OTT- (Thoroughbred Horses)

Today is the first time we are getting on our new OTTB! With all the groundwork done over the last two episodes, it’s time to see how this work has gone in prepping him to have a nice calm, relaxed experience as we begin to get on!!

Today we list the steps that you need to go through to check if your new horse is calm and relaxed before you even attempt to get on. We even go through what we use for a mounting to block to be safe for your horse and you!

You’ll also discover one of the most important things you need to know in case you get into trouble up on your horse in these first few rides.
